Recruiting workers with disabilities (WWDs)

Issues

• Identify issues with workers with disabilities within recruitment. The issues should be discussed within the Australian context. For example, this group is disadvantaged during recruitment why is this? Why is it necessary to investigate such issues (i.e., what benefits will WWDs, organizations, and society have by improving the current recruitment practices)?

Practices

• Following a review of the literature, what organisational practices (i.e., detailed actions organisations take) are being used to address the issue(s) in organisations in Australia?
• Analyse the weaknesses and strengths of the practices/strategies you mentioned above by engaging the literature.
