Nal is the year 12 Arts teacher responsible for organising the end of year school Arts production show. This year Nal wishes to present her own Arts play- 'Little Cinderella'.Nal is responsible for all aspects of the production including costuming, catering and set up. She has been encouraged to access volunteer resources where possible- including the schools 'Parents and Friends Association'.Nal only has 1 month to get it all organised.

Nal is aware of a 16-year-old year 10 student - Monalisa - who has set up her own catering from home project-preparing cakes and sandwiches for school events. Nal speaks to Monalisa after class and asks whether she can prepare cakes and sandwiches for 200 people.

Monalisa says yes, I can-I will need one week's'notice and it will be $20 per person - $4000 in total". Nalsays, 'I will need to think about it for a day or two.' Monalisasays, 'send me a Facebookmessage if you want me to proceed- I have a Facebook website 'Monalisa FastFood Catering' where I take all our orders'. Later that weekNal sends a text message to Monalisathat says, 'go ahead with the cakes and sandwiches as we discussed'.

Peter is upset as he has nearly finished the dress and will not be able to reuse them.

Monalisacleans out her parents' household fridge and cupboard to make the sandwiches andcakes. Monalisa's mum Ann asks Monalisa to pay her back for the ingredients but Monalisa refuses. Ann contacts Naldirectly and says, 'Monalisa has used all my ingredients-you need to give me $1000 out of the $4000 they are to be paid to reimburse me'.

Finally, on the morning of the play Nal realises she requires someone to assist with the setting up.She sends an email out to all parents in the school's Parents Association saying - 'Attention allParents- we need help to set up for tonight's play. The first20 parents to arrive at 2.00 pm today to assist with the set up willreceive two free tickets to tonight's performance.'Rob is the older brother of a student who is performing in the play. Rob sees the email and decides he wishes to watch the play. Rob arrives at the school at 12.00pm-before anyone else-and assists with the setup of the play.
