In Alberta you started a business whose revenue is dependent on the gas and oil industry. You business employs 16 people. (The exact nature of the business is not important in this case. It can be anything. The important point is that your revenues depend on the oil and gas industry). You are not the sole shareholder of the business, as 6 of your former colleagues from your time in Vancouver, as a UCW student, also invested in your business. They, together, own 49% of the business. While, for the last years, the outlook for your business was bright, given the bright perspectives of the Keystone XL pipeline, yesterday you found out that the new US President, Joe Biden, cancelled the Keystone XL pipeline with a stroke of his pen.
