Reply in a minimum of 150 words. Be constructive and professional. When thinking of any good organization, you see how the staff works together and gets the task completed like a well oiled machine. The way this is possible is by recruiting, training, development, evaluating and influencing staff. Per our reading it appears that in order to be able to have this type of well working organization HRM plays a main role as they begin the process with the recruiting of staff. The reading states "recruiting becomes extremely important, defined as a set of activities and processes used to obtain sufficient numbers of highly qualified people" to help the organization in the selection process. HRM is also responsible for compensation, this function is highly important because of how it can "attract, retain, and motivate" employees in the organization. I would rate the compensation function to be second in the importance scale. In my opinion I have to agree with the statement of how important the process of recruiting is and how it can be the most important function. HRM is able to review, distinguish, analyze and find staffing that would fit according to the organizations needs, mission and vision. I recently had an experience where we were recruiting to fill a position now we had a few candidates who seem highly qualified however, once HR reviewed some references and had some questions of previous employment history we came to the discovery that the candidate was not the best match
