REPLY TO THIS DISSCUSSION POST

"Statistical psychology is extremely useful in terms of research methods and measuring the variations for different frequencies and variables. Throughout each module, I have gradually gained more knowledge on the analytical aspect of statistical psychology. Through module 1 I learned the basics of statistical methods that branch off into different sectors of include a more descriptive understanding of research. The distinguishment of what statistic is associated with each scale of measurement and variables is also associated with this module. Through our first assignment, we used the scales of measurement to describe and label our analytical data that was inputted into SPSS. Without the foundational knowledge, I would not have been able to understand the task. (Although I could have used more practice on the first module assignment, I gained experience in working with SPSS and learned its functions in data and variable view). Module 2 discussed mean characteristics and central tendencies. By reviewing both concepts, it helps to describe data and figure out how it's distributed. In Module 3 we look at z scores and probabilities. We analyze how probabilities can be calculated to determine possible outcomes. Sampling distribution is also mentioned in this module which helps with computing z scores and calculations that support the evidence found in previous modules. Module 4 introduced the hypothesis and how research is vital to data entry. Each module we have completed thus far has coexisted with one another. The correlation of each module helps in the assistance of computing data and understanding statistics."

"All together I would apply these professionally through clinical psychology which requires a great deal of analytical data entry and with the knowledge of interpreting statistical data I am capable of such. Within the biological domain, I would be able to interpret the neurological, brain mechanisms, and behavioral interactions on paper through different graphs presented by statistical psychology. I would be able to examine patterns within the scientific realm that cater to behavior, adaptability, and evolution. Within the sociocultural domain, I would be able to record statistical information based on experimental methods provided by the social science of humanities. By examining behavior interactions from a cultural standpoint, I can create future projections that can assist with multitudes of analytical data. This data is then transformed into numerous categories that range from schools, crime, politics, religion, etc."
