Reply to this.

I do not think it is okay for a person to lose their job because they are out of work and on workers' compensation. I understand that it does cost the employer money but I feel like there should be a mutual respect between an employer and an employee. If an employee is doing their best work, working for an employer day after day after day, doing great work, then I think the employer should want to help their employee and keep them around. I feel like when the employer agreed to hire the employee, and the employee agreed to work for the employer, that was an agreement to take care of each other. I think it is the employer's responsibility so keep the employee's position open so when they return, they can have their job back. If an employee is unable to return to their position, then the employer should put the employee into a position they can do. I think what is best for a company is to take care of their employees. A company showing they care about their employees will nurture a more harmonious work environment and lead to better production.
