Resource leveling prevents resources from being distributed too thinly while yet ensuring that projects have all they require to prosper in their endeavors. This strategy adds to project management and aids in the maintenance of a healthy work-life balance for the team. Here are some of the reasons why resource-leveling might be beneficial to resource-leveling (Piryonesi, et al. 2019)

In our case, The best way to resource plan the three tasks involved is to adjust their timelines, depending on the kinds of works involved. The three tasks are electrical work, plumbing work, and another task of plumbing work. It would be best if the electricity work was to be divided into two, in that, one would take about three days, and the other one would take the remaining two days of the five days that are in the chart. The reason to do this is to avoid task overloading. The resource leveling done here will help ensure that the team working on the electricity will not have too much pressure while undertaking these tasks.

On the other hand, for the Plumbing work, I will have to adjust the dates for these so that the outcome will be of high quality. To do this, I will ensure that the two tasks involving plumbing do not start simultaneously. I will first let task 1 start and then task 2 after the first one is completed. The first one takes two days, and I would allow its completion between the two, which takes four days. This will helpfully optimize the resources present in the project involving the plumbing work. This leads to the overall success of the entire project.
