The manager I interviewed is the Public Health Program Manager for community outreach and she has been with the organzation for over 13 years. What I find most inspiring about her journeyand a key reason I chose to interview heris that she began her career in the same role I currently hold, as a Communicable Disease Specialist. Starting off in an entry level role, and working her way up I think she has a clear vision and knowledge about the organzation and the community. She's able to execute the vision and to me represents the organization and community with pride. What strategic planning initiatives should the manager recommend to effectively communicate healthcare organizational mission, vision and values statements? In order to grow and communicate the values and mission of thee organization I would recommend that the manager implement an employee recognition program. This program will acknowledge staff and help boost morale internally and externally. The next thing would be doing more media outreach. Successful testimonials, employee recognition stories, etc should all be shared consistently. This
