For This Assignment

Students will assemble the final report to the Board of Directors which Formulates the Strategic Themes and Strategic Recommendations for your company based on your External, Internal and Competitor Analysis. It will include summaries of your prior Internal, External and Financial analysis as well as the Strategic Issues discussion. These should be the best summaries possible and might include new research and analysis you may have done after completing the Strategic Issues discussion.

A Strategic Theme is defined as a Business Strategy $($Chapters $6-7),$ Corporate Strategy $($Chapters $8-9)$ or Global strategy $($Chapter $10)$ as defined in the appropriate sections of your text. It is NOT just an idea of how the company can do better which is part of regular operational or marketing improvements. You will need to:

review those chapters and understand those themes

identify which theme you are proposing

justify your theme based on specific insights you obtained during your analysis

If you can't find a justifying basis for your theme in your analysis, either expand your analysis until you find a basis or look for alternative themes.
