Report on Quality: This is a group assignment that carries (25%) of the total assessment marks of the course. The group should not exceed four students. Students are expected to report on any of the local, regional or international companies for one of the quality-related areas given below or any other approved area of quality. Students can visit, if possible any Omani business in Sohar Industrial Estate or a round in the region to prepare their reports. They can also call and interview some executives in the quality areas. Alternatively, they can access some websites or secondary data such as company reports or manuals. This assignment provides students with an opportunity to apply the knowledge developed in the course to the practical analysis of an organizations quality strategies; practices, policies and performance.
