Purpose: Feed your interest in all things legal.

Learn about something that interests you enough to want to tell the class about it.

Think about it like youre starting a conversation: Hey, this is what Im interested in, this is what I learned, this is what I really had to think about, what do you think?

Format: 5-7 minutes, including question and answer time.

NO videos from OTHER people.

Topic: Your choice, but NO Netflix docudramas, etc. or stories with scant or one-sided facts. Use real and reputable sources.

If youre coming up empty, turn to the book for ideas about specific causes of action (civil claims) or crimes.

Ideally, youll talk about something similar to what were covering at the same time you make your contribution.

Ethics

Do you think the punishment or amount of money that must be paid is ethically proper?

What ethics standards should we use in making this determination?

Can you find any comparable examples? Was the outcome similar?
