Operations Management Decisions
Using the company chosen in Part 1, research, from company websites and/or business articles, how your company uses any 6 of the 10 Critical Decisions of Operations Management (found in Table. 1.2 of the text). Your instructor wants to learn something unique about your chosen company for each of the 6 decisions researched.
Add a section (about 2 pgs.) to the report started in Part 1) Step D) that includes one paragraph for each critical decision chosen and researched in Step A. Remember to report on how your chosen company uses these decisions. Descriptions of the decisions will not be marked.
Part 3) Mission, Strategies and Competitive Advantages
Again using the same company chosen for Part 1), research and provide the companys Mission Statement.
Research 3 strategies (or more) and explain how your company uses these internally to accomplish their mission statement.
Linking to the strategies explained in Part B, describe what your chosen company uses externally for their competitive advantage(s).
Add a section (about 1.5 2 pgs.) to your report for Parts 1) and 2) that details the results from your research in steps A, B, and C above.
