RESEARCH METHODOLOGY ASSIGNMENT Part 1 - Research Issue, motivation and literature review Title: The need for specific accounting and reporting standard for Waqf. 1. Select an accounting research issue that you are interested to investigate for your master research. 2. Clearly identify the research problem and explain why the issues are important. 3. Explain the contribution of your research proposal. 4. Provide a brief discussion of key relevant literature and explain how your proposal fill the gap in the literature. Part 2 - Hypothesis Development 1. Logically develop a theoretical framework to resolve the issues described under Part 1. 2. Based on the above framework, derive empirically testable hypotheses if any. Part 3 - Research Design (Week 9 - 12). 1. Discuss the research design and how you intend to test the hypotheses. Please indicate your concept, indicators and your measurement. Please discuss why your measures are appropriate. 2.
