Twenty employees are identified and randomly assigned in equal numbers (n = 10) to two different training conditions (A and B). The dependent measure is number of inquiries processed correctly by each employee in a 72-hour work period following the week-long training. Data are collected from all 20 participants. 1. The purpose of this study is Select one: a.to evaluate the effect of training procedures on the efficiency of processing client inquiries. b.to ensure fairness in assigning employees to training programs. c.to count the number of inquiries processed by telephone, email, and regular mail. d. to train the employees to be more efficient. 2. The independent variable is Select one: a. the method of inquiry. b.the training procedure. c. the multi-step process. d. the quantity of inquiries processed in a 72-hour 3. A possible hypothesis for this study is: Select one: a. The number of inquiries produced by an employee trained by method A is greater than the number of inquiries produced by an employee trained by method B. b.Email inquiry is more effective than regular mail. c. The total number of inquiries produced by employees trained with training program A is greater than the total number of inquiries produced by employees trained by training program B. d.The average number of inquiries produced by employees trained with training procedure A is greater than the average number of inquiries produced by employees trained by training procedure B. 4. The research design use for this study is Select one: a. An Experimental study b. A Descriptive study c. A Correlational study d. Casual-Comparative study 5. A possible inferential statistical technique that could be use to analyze the data from this study is Select one: a. A t-test difference between two means b. A pie chart c.
