Example of Topic: Human Trafficking

Ethically I have an issue with trying to tackle this problem by focusing on the perpetrator and creating a profile for what a human trafficker usually is, because I think it is a slippery slope to try to predict who will be a criminal too much crime isnt reported and goes undetected that I think this would be a very biased model. Instead, if I had unlimited funding, I would use all the cameras that are currently on wifi to be constantly scanning the photos of those who are missing to help locate them. This could also extend into applications like Instagram/Facebook to locate the missing as well. A drawback of this method would be the access to the data (cameras) and it also misses an entire population of people the ones who arent reported missing.
