Research Presentation This assignment is a career exploration report on your likely future career. After identifying a professional position related to your chosen career, review it job outlook for the next 10-20 years, required education, and necessary skills/knowledge. Focus on the skills/knowledge needed now to be considered for the job, then identify likely advancement opportunities that will arise. In addition to the technical skills needed, what soft skills are needed as you advance in the field and move into supervisory (managerial) positions. You must include at least five credible sources, from a variety of sources including the Steen library database, Internet-based sources, and government websites such as the Bureau of Labor Statistics. There are three deliverables associated with this assignment: Key Points Outline After completing research to address the instructions, prepare a keyword outline that identifies how you will sequence your main topics and the information you will provide for each. This outline should provide some specific information you plan to present, but does not require complete sentences. Take care that your outline is not vague, and does not provide just headings. References List your resources in correct APA format at the end of your presentation. The focus of your presentation is your oral presentation skills, so you should not include visual aids such as slides. You will want to rehearse and re-record several times to ensure you are submitting your best possible work.
