Research software tools for decreasing metadata in documents. There are some tools that are created for law firms specifically.

Create a comparison chart for the metadata in a $1-$page Microsoft Word document, the same document saved as a PDF$,$ and a digital image of the same $1-$page document. Include the following:

Common metadata included in each way of sharing information

How individuals can access the metadata

How to erase or remove some or all of the metadata

Comparison of metadata in all $3$ documents after trying to remove some or all the metadata

Write a $1-$page report to the law firm that includes recommendations it can make to its clients on how to minimize the sharing of metadata when sharing documents with people outside of their organization. You may include a recommendation on using a third$-$party software tool as well.
