Respond to Hierarchical plans can certainly have time frame elements to them. At the highest level down to operating unit plans. They can all have short-, medium-, and long-term goals and objectives. In fact, in my experience the best plans have deadlines and time horizons built into everything. I also believe there should be accountability as well. Who owns the goal, by when, and with whom. If that make sense? I have used a RACI matrix before on this. There are other tools l I am sure. Any come to mind?
So as a question, what else should good planning have as part of its process/system? Contingencies are interesting. Those represent changes to the plan.
So does how does this one fit in? Should there be a contingency plan built along with a full hierarchical plan? How would this work for HCSC?
