respond to this in 6 sentences The LEED case study that I chose was the Antiguo Palacio in Mexico City, Mexico. It's a government building that was built in the 16th century after the fall of the Aztec Empire and the Spanish conquistador Hernan Cortes claimed Mexico for the Spanish Empire. Though the building was constructed 500 years ago, it was able to get a LEED certification Gold level in 2015 and later on a Platinum Level in 2018. The way that they were able to do this was by utilizing the site location to their advantage to promote alternative transportation and the building's architecture design was able help it because it already allowed natural light to come in. The reason why I chose this building was because I was very curious in learning how sustainable an older building could become especially if it's a building that is considered to have a lot of historical importance to a city or country. The way that I organized my research on my board was I wanted a clear distinction of information between the left and right side of the board. I decided that I would put most of the building's historical and site information on the left. The information that is associated more with the project's sustainability was on the right side. The most compelling design and sustainable aspect of the project that is inspiring is the building sustainable sites and the amount of credits they got for that category, specifically the alternative commuting transportation
