Respond to this Using the simulation enhanced my ability to use fractions with greater numerator and denominators. Fractions are one content that I have always held on to sense being taught in elementary. The simulation helped me to see larger numbers different without using scratch paper to find the least or greatest common denominator. I was able to solve the equivalent fractions without seconding guessing. The one thing that stood out to me was the number line. I didn't understand the stimulator until the person in the video was able to show on the number line how, where to mark with using certain parts. It helped we to see how each number line is broken down into the parts the denominator is representing. So, when you have reached a whole number that fraction shows that entire shape or fraction presented as reached a whole. The number line no matter what I have used it for was always difficult for me. The video demonstrated the visual use of a fraction without using a shape. Teaching fractions wouldn't be difficult to me than actually teaching the number line. I do believe I know how to use it but teaching someone to use
