when dealing with extended arguments the most important traits are intellectual humility (willingness to admit being wrong), open-mindedness (considering other perspectives), and analytical thinking (evaluating evidence and making logical connections) because these key traits help steer the narrative for the case at hand and keeps everyone feeling involved as well as leading with true facts. in my selected career these are all important because we are giving the transcript of what happened on a certain case that anyone can pull from so, we must make sure if we didn't hear something or might have missed things we are asking clarifying question to make sure the information is correct to the best of our knowledge and even if we mis-interpret something we correct it in real time a court reporter helps bring clarity to what actually happened in real time.
