The demographics are changing constantly, at present time there is a person born every nine seconds, there is a death every ten seconds, a gain every twenty seconds, and an international immigrant every thirty-one seconds (U.S. Census Bureau., 2023). The areas in the Southern part of the United States are growing the fastest, and I feel that would be important to know as we can plan ahead and make projections on what our population will be in the future. Preparing for this will be beneficial in educational achievement an attendance in school, a more ethnically diverse and culturally diverse population can have a positive impact on the economy, quality of life, availability of housing, and worldwide commerce.
