This is where one species benefits from another species without the causing any effect on the species it is benefiting from. In the photo, there are spider eggs on the leaf of a plant. The eggs are using the leaf for security from predation or other dangers. There is no benefit nor harm for the leaf. herbivory.jpg This second picture is an example of herbivory, a type of predation where an organism eats plants for food. As you can see on this leaf, there was some sort of organism feeding on it. Most likely some type of insect. I believe that both of these pictures show the final seral stage of climax community. There are several different organisms that have taken up residence in these areas. They were freshly "plowed" areas in early spring with new vegetation (flowers, trees, etc) planted in them. Now they have, not only the planted organisms, but many different bugs, weeds, and other wild plants
