With the rise of technology and the increased dependency on them for these well being factors, it's imperative that they are successful. I read an article from netguru that listed out the 15 key components for a successful app. Though all points listed were important, for the purpose of this assignment I've decided to condense them and discuss only five, and why they make an app successful to me. The first first of the five is going to be knowing your audience, but with that, being receptive to their feedback. No matter what the app is, The Weather Channel, Candy Crush, or TikTok, knowing who is going to best benefit from the service will aid to the success the app has because they will be more likely to share the app with others, in turn increasing brand awareness. At the same time, once you do target the correct audience for the app, being receptive to any feedback they have by addressing negative features will make your brand appear more credible - a persuasive technique known as a refutational argument. Secondly, quality is important. Kind of self explanatory, no one wants to use an app that looks poorly made. Furthermore, if a user is confused by the purpose of the app, you're not going to grow. Communication is key, so being able to clearly explain or show what you app features, along with making it easy to use will make it successful. Lastly, similarly to the first listed way, listening to feedback and actually doing something about the feedback given will make the app successful. Everyone loves to be heard, so when you put effort in to make sure you're listening to your users and making the necessary changes to make them happier about the service will only benefit both parties. Overall, knowing your audience and being receptive to their feedback, providing a quality service with a clear message, ease of use, and frequent updates will only aid to the success of any app. netgu ru
