Fifty years from now, huge changes will occur in terms of new jobs, and changes within the work place. In recent years, Artificial Intelligance has already been taking peoples jobs, with things such as self checkouts in stores that have caused cashiers to lose jobs. Jobs that will soon be taken over by AI if not already, include proofreaders, factory workers, bridge toll collectors and more. These leave many people around the country unemployed. However, with AI taking over these jobs, people are still needed in order to make the articficial intellegance work. Technicians will be needed more in order to create these Artificial Intelligance mechanisms. So at the same time as jobs being taken, some jobs are created. Also, many jobs within corporations have been outsourced to other countries, leaving Americans jobless, and poses a problem within the US.

While jobs are being lost, new jobs are constantly needed. In the age of social media, there are many many jobs now that never existed without social media such as influencers, social media organizers, and thousands of people working on creating social apps such as Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat. In fifty years, there will be much more of this, leaving room for more jobs that never would have been around 50 years ago without social media and technology. Work place dynamics will be changed as well, now with women working equally as much as men, and fighting for work place and pay equality. Women are more into business than ever, and I only see that increasing over the next 50 years. Also women are fighting for less gender discrimination within workplaces, and taking a stand against sexual harassment in the workplace, that is something that will hopefully be changed completely in 50 years. 50 years ago women did not work, and if they did they only had jobs such as secretaries. This is very different now as women have higher, more important jobs as only men once did, and seems as if in 50 years women will be dominating the work world.
