Mental health conditions have skyrocketed over the past few years and are expected to continue to rise (Hamdoun et al., 2023). Why are these problems prevailing, and what can we do to advocate for those in need, especially in the healthcare world. One study done among healthcare professionals includes the incidence rate of mental health conditions in those who worked in healthcare settings during the pandemic, and are continuing to work in healthcare now (Hill et al., 2022). Over 21% proclaim to have PTSD, over 16% have anxiety, 13% are diagnosed with major depressive disorder and 7% show signs of acute stress disorder. These are staggering numbers, and it is thought to be higher with some not accurately reported
