Review your video notes, discussion posts, and previous assignments for this course. Begin with the Research Process Table you developed in Module 1 and subsequently revised. Reflect on the alignment of your proposed study using the following questions to guide your thinking: Are the method and design compatible? Do my problem statement, purpose statement, and research questions contain the same language? (Remember, repetition is okay!) Did I target the appropriate population? Can the participant sample provide information to answer the research questions? Or, did I identify the right data source? Are the data collection instruments appropriate for my research plans? Understanding I have not yet conducted the research, do the limitations, delimitations, and assumptions I anticipate make sense? Do I have a clear sense of the findings, results, and conclusions I anticipate and do these fit together? Have I put sufficient protocols in place to ensure my research is conducted ethically? Step 2 Design a narrated slide presentation as if you are presenting your ideas to your peers. Your goal is to communicate what you have learned about research methods and how you have developed a plan for a research study. Include a title slide, one slide for each step in the Research Process Table, a conclusion slide in which you share your overall reflections on what you learned in the course, and a reference slide.
