Good Morning!

I do not feel good to hear that some people had some concerns about the use of email and the number of email that is sent every day from our superstar RE office! I started to think I should be curious if you had any concerns (?) about rewriting e-mail usage policy that was suggested in person to you guys in regard to what she said a few weeks ago after our sales meeting. I know firsthand and completly understand all of your concerns about the need for shorter meetings and fewer emails about keeping clients focussed on our sales goals, you know what I mean. No one wants to go into the holiday season behind on our targets especialy the people in the Carrolltton and loscolinas office, and emails have become a major distraction because of the numbers that is sent. I'm guilty too! I have a lot of experience with this issue that can be useful to you. Why don't we work together to write a better policy. We could answer a few questions in the road of writing up this new better policy. Some questions could be whether email helps anymore. What happened to fax? Could texting work instead? I could text you a hourly sales goal reminder. Should we have fewer times for checking emails? Should we ban attachments? Sould email be private or should everyone be able to see everything? Can you use it for personal stuff like fantasy sports? What if we stopped shooting off emails from 1-4 specially with appt setting. This would be unconvential for a sales agent office specially on weekends since employees need the emails, but then they - the RE Agents - could focus on doing the real work of working in sales. Hitting the streets. Making bucks. Closing. That's what matters. Also, with the new law in TX about texting & driving, everyone needs to be extra careful about sending email while driving so we all avoid getting tickets while driving around clients. Very awkward. Suggestions? Maybe the office girl can put together all the comments. Let's keep focused on our sales goals.
