rewrite: As CEO I would not modify the mission statement right away. I would use an employee survey and conduct employee feed to see how employees at all levels feel about the mission. I would even take it a step further and ask if they know the mission statement. Once I receive the data I would look at it a make it decision if it should be changed. If changes were needed I would conduct a round table discussion with employees at all levels and brainstorm ideas which could help improve the statement
