I would This will help me see where the company is going and what it wants to achieve (Measure Your Progress Toward Your Vision, 2019b). I would use this knowledge to identify values aspects of Wegmans vision that align with my vision. I would also want to have open and honest conversations with and ask questions of managers, and team to provide their thoughts on the vision. The conversation may begin with a simple introduction to what a vision statement is and how it differs from a mission statement. According to Silva (2023): Missions are brass-tacks explanations of what a company does, mostly for customers and uninitiated external audiences. Visions function first as internal catalysts, mobilizing stakeholders around a common and bold purpose that is then radiated to external audiences to secure loyalty (para 8). Questions such as is the vision clear to them, do they understand the vision, and how do they feel we are able to move towards the vision as an organization (LID Editorial, 2015). The team feedback will allow me the ability to modify or adapt my personal vision statement to better fit the companys overall goals and objectives.
