The conclusion for Kelly Greene was to be held responsible for her choices and actions. She chose to go to the party, drink alcohol, and then get behind the wheel of a vehicle and drive home under the influence of alcohol. She had options of nonalcoholic beverages that she could have drunk instead. She also had other alternatives instead of drinking and driving, such as calling a cab or finding someone sober to drive her home. Kelly Greene can't blame Tom Randall when she was the only person directly responsible for the decisions that lead to the tragic event. I feel this is a strong argument, but some responsibility still falls on Mr. Randall for not preventing Ms. Greene from driving after he knew she had drunk alcohol.
