The proposal demonstrates the ability to identify an ethical issue. You are asked to create a proposal, which must be verified by the instructor before beginning work on the course project.

The proposal consists of a short description of a present$-$day, ethically controversial scenario. The description should be appioximately three sentences and include a weblink to a news story about it$.$ The description should highlight what is controversial about the case and clearly identify a targeted action that will serve as the crux of the case study analysis. It is beneficial to find an article with ample details about the case because it could provide you with further reference when writing the report. You should not select the same case study as another student and will be asked to select a different topic if yours is already taken.

The proposal should also identify a single business that can be treated as the ethical agent $($the individual doing the action$)$ in the case. The business does not need to be identified within the news story, but it should be reasonable to believe that the selected business could be involved in the action described within the case. A link to the business's Code of Ethics should also be included because it will be used within the case study analysis.
