Tasks: Students will carefully research their approved topics using academic / credible sources. Students will then follow directions for developing an outline or writing plan, a rough draft, and final draft. Students will include in-text citations and a Works Cited page for all sources cited within the paper (minimum of four different sources must be included in the final draft). Objectives: Students will use outside sources (library, Internet, databases) to explore an idea question or thesis; integrating sources into a text, handling guotations, and using MLA style to give appropriate credit to sources. Students will continue to practice skills of crafting a thesis, organizing an essay, and developing content with specific detail. For your final essay of the term, you will research the historical impact topic identified in Module 3 (proposal & annotated bibliography) and you will frame your own arguable theory about your subject.
