RPI is your Client, and they have decided to replace North Lot with a scenic pond. The idea is to excavate a 10-ft deep pond (side slopes?) at the North Lot parking site and construct a spillway to Sage Ave. The Client envisions the spillway as a 5-ft long broad crested weir with one foot of freeboard between the spillway crest at EL 220 and the top of dam elevation at EL 221, but they are open to your suggestions. You are the Senior Engineer on this project and have been the Client's primary point of contact for your engineering firm. Your current scope is to work with the Client to develop a conceptual design. You and the Client are in the brainstorm phase!
