In our case, we will focus on the function of consultation services to the management so that we can come up with solutions to help Mr.Morgan. Business assessment Mr Morgan works in a castle family restaurant. It is a large scale business, but the offices of the managers are far from the restaurant itself. The castle family restaurant does not have a human resource manager as it is Mr Morgan who acts as a human resource manager and since he is not familiar with the post he makes mistakes when making decisions. For example, I realized that most of the employees there do not have the qualifications and also those given the promotions that they do not deserve . Employees grievances were not being addressed which made them feel less appreciated, and the work they did was not to their level best as they were not motivated Identified problems In Castle restaurant, I discovered problems such as not addressing the employees grievances is one of the biggest problems that the castle family restaurant is facing. Both the employees and the management require a qualified human resource to cater for their HUMAN RESOURCE 3 grievances and also offer advisory services. In the case of Mr Morgan, I would advise him to appoint a supervisor so that he can minimize his movements to and fro the business. About the checking the payrolls of the employees he should use a more automated machine that will produce the payment receipts automatically instead of using the spread sheet. Another major problem that they are facing is that almost half the number of employees works part time which overloads those employees who work full time. As a consultant of the human resource, I advised Mr Morgan as the operation manager to employ individuals who will be working full time so that they can devote themselves there and try and raise the business. HRIS needs assessment Offering consultation services to both the employee and the management is a primary function that is using to help Morgan company. They should hire a human resource manager who will be giving this service so that the business can progress.
