Scammers Inc is modernizing its communications network and has asked you to design it for them. The group started with two persons but now they have a branch office in each parish with the head office located in Manchester. Four Branch offices have a maximum of 10 persons, six has a maximum of 20 persons, three have 30 persons and the head office has 150 persons located there. These numbers are expected to grow over time.

Currently there are no connections between the offices and only the head office has internet access via ADSL. These are the requirements of the new network:

• All branch offices must be able to communicate with each other.
• All office must have internet access
• The access to the internet should be secure
• All computers in each of the offices should be networked.
• Only authorized users should be able to access the network
• Secure wireless connection should be at each office to support mobile users
• Database and mail servers will be hosted in the cloud and on premises in a hybrid design.

Your tasks:

• Design a network that meets all these requirements
• Produce network diagrams for you design
• Design an appropriate addressing scheme for the network
• Produce a list of equipment that you would need to purchase along with and approximate budget (No need to be efficient on the budget...I just need you to have an idea what the equipment costs)
• Describe how you would secure the network and harden the network devices ( Consider remote access as well as local access.)
• Describe how you would provide internet access to all locations
• Describe what routing protocols you would use for the LAN
• Describe how you would use VLAN's in your design
• Describe how you would design the WAN
• Describe how would you provide redundancy in your network
• Describe how you would you manage this network...what tools would you use
• Describe how you would provide voice service to the locations.
• Can network Automation tools be used? If so, how?
