SCAMPER Work Sheet:

1. Substitute:

(Replace a part of a product, process, or idea with something else.)

2. Combine:

(consider how different elements can be merged or integrated to create something new.)

3. Adjust:

(Make adjustments or modifications to existing elements to better fit a particular purpose.)

4. Modify/Magnify/Minify:

(Make alterations or changes to existing elements to improve performance, efficiency.)

5. Put to other uses:

(Explore alternative applications or contexts for existing products, processes.)

6. Eliminate:

(Identifying and removing unnecessary or redundant elements.)

7. Reverse/Rearrange:

(look at a problem or challenge from a different perspective or inverting the usual sequence of events.)

Identify a scenario in which you believe a new backpack is needed.

Provide the following three elements:

A description of the scenario What type of backpack are you starting with. What do you want to improve. A SCAMPER Worksheet Fill out each box on the worksheet describing how that scamper method will be used to modify your starting bag to make it more like the finished product. A description of the final design/ modifications.

An abridged example might look something like:

1. Take the existing GIVI motorcycle bag and make it better for longer trips
