Scenario $3$: Container Filling Machine

A process engineer asks you to set up a Container Filling Machine. In this application, food containers are filled with a condiment before sending them down the conveyor to be packaged.

A pushbutton causes the machine to begin operation.

Initially the conveyor motor is moving containers down the conveyor. As soon as a jar passes in front of the sensor the conveyor stops and the condiment is dispensed out of the nozzle for $5$ seconds.

As soon as the dispensing stops and the container is full it will proceed down the conveyor and the system will wait for another container to fill.

After every $5$ containers have been filled a notification is sent to the operator

After $10$ jars have been filled the dispenser will need to be refilled with a bulk amount of condiment so it will have enough to fill $5$ more containers.

When the machine runs out of the bulk condiment, the operator cannot start the machine again until he$/$she replaces the material and resets the machine.

After the dispenser has been refilled the system should start again filling the containers.

Pushing another button at any time will cause the machine to stop.

The count however will be maintained so that the machine will complete the remaining cycles if the start button is pressed again.
