Scenario: Consider a conference host website in which authors submit their research papers for publication in a conference proceedings at time of the scheduled conference. Comments by reviewers are recorded during a scheduled selection process. This database system will cater primarily to reviewers who record answers to a set of evaluation questions for each paper they review and make recommendations regarding whether to accept or reject a paper. The database design requirements are summarized as follows:

Each paper is assigned a unique identifier by the system and is described by a title, an abstract and the name of the file for the paper. In case of multiples authors only one author submits paper. Authors of papers are uniquely identified by Author Id. First and last name, affiliation, email address, phone number, and mailing address.

A paper may have multiple authors, but one author will be a primary contact. An author may submit multiple papers and be a contact for multiple papers.

Every author must be named on at least one submitted paper.

Each reviewer is uniquely identified by an identifier. Recording a first name, last name, email address and affiliation. Author(s) are not allowed to be reviewers of their own paper(s).

Each paper is assigned multiple reviewers. A reviewer rates each paper assigned to him or her on a scale of 1 to 10 in four categories: technical merit, readability, originality and relevance to the conference. Finally, each reviewer provides an overall recommendation regarding each paper

. Each review contains two types of written comments: one to be sent to the author contact person and another to be shared with a review committee chair only.

Design an ER diagram for an application using CHENs notation. In ER diagram identify all structural constraints. Include basic requirements and assumptions needed to make a specification complete.
