Vancouver Community College $($VCC$)$ is proud to be working toward putting our Equity. Action plan into

motion. Through recent collective bargaining with our staff unions the parties have saithe to introduce

some new language that will allow for progress relating to equity, diversity, inclusion

reconcilition.

A new Vancouver Community College Faculty association $($VCCFA$)$ Letter of Understanding is as follows:

Further to Article $7\mathrm{.}03-$Notice of Disciplinary Meeting$/$Right of Representation and the right of

a staff member to have an Association Representative present in an investigation meeting that

mar result in discipline, the VCCFA may request to include a second VCCFA chapter executive

member or a VCCFA local representative as an additional resource to better support equity,

diversity, and inclusion. Requests will not be unreasonably denied. No undue delay shall result

from the unavailability of such representation.
