The product is manufactured in batches of 1000 pieces and the current design use cardboard with plastic overlay on top and has a dimension of 13.5 by 8.5 inches (LXW] with a weight of 350 grams. The client is aware the current design of paper holder has many issues, but the need to redesign the paper holder was triggered by complaints from users of the product. The complaints stated the holder cannot hold the documents securely, the holder fails to stand upright properly when loaded with more than twenty pieces of A4 paper. The intended life cycle of the product is five (5) years. The client also requires the alternative design solution of the desktop document holder should take into account the possibility of using the holder in upright (vertical] and landscape [horizontal] positions.
