Scenario:
You have been provided with an ERD (shown as below) for a modern online streaming platform. This platform offers a variety of content, including movies, TV shows, and user-generated videos. Users can leave reviews for the content they watch and create playlists of their favorite content. The ERD captures the primary entities and their relationships. Your task is to refine this design and bring it to the next stage: the logical design, i.e., creating a relation schema. Task:
Your task is to write relation schema based on the ERD provided. Pay special attention to the relationships. For 1:N relationships, place the Primary Key from the "One" side into the "Many" side of the relationship as a Foreign Key. For N:M relationships, create a new intersection table. This table should inherit the Primary Keys from both entities involved table.
Deliverable:
In a text/word file, write out the Model(i.e., relation schema) of your database.
The relation schema should use the following format:
ABC_TABLE_NAME (Primary Key, other Elements, etc.)(if there is a foreign key, italicize it)
For EG: ABC_USER(UserID,UserName,Email,SubscribeDate)
UserID will be underlined as it is the primary key.
Prefix each attribute (including PKs and FKs) with ABC.
Denote Primary Key, Foreign Key, and relationships. For each relationship, draw a directional arrow pointing from foreign key attribute towards its "parent" primary key.
