My perspectives have changed regarding Risk Management. Now I see the importance in having a risk management and business continuity program. Companies that cannot identify and manage risks are at a disadvantage these days. Companies that manage risk incorrectly have lost their business or at a minimum, a lot of money. To become more resilient, companies must put together a detailed risk management program that is flexible and keeps up with technology and current times. Companies should be looking at risk from the Supplier through the end of the supply chain, with detailed mitigation action for each risk item.
