Analyse the internal forces of the selected truss by applying point loads of 30kN at the necessary joints, based on fundamental knowledge of mechanics. Submit a report consisting of plan view drawing of the dining hall with its facilities, including wide range dimension of truss (i.e: span, height, inclination angle of the roof, column location, distance between trusses etc). Propose the suitable cross - sectional area of the selected truss that are safe for all members at allowable tensile and compressive stress of 200Nmm2 and 300Nmm2, respectively. Maximum deflection of the selected truss must not exceed 25mm. Propose the most suitable size and numbers of bolts at an allowable shear stress of 100Nmm2 that support structural engineering design.
