I appreciate your enthusiasm on this project and your wish to make our presentation this Friday clear and audience$-$oriented. While PowerPoint certainly has advantages in many situations, adding a longer media format to our talk might push us over our time limit$.$

As we discussed yesterday, management has given us fifteen minutes to present both our current sales numbers and next quarter's projections. Your two charts clearly and effectively highlight the portion of those reports that we will discuss at the meeting. Plus, I$\text{'}$d be stressed out if the slide show didn't work properly $($like what happened to Bill last week$$ugh$!)$ :-) Instead of wasting time on the PowerPoint, I think its best right now if you focus your remaining time and abundant energy on relevant tasks, and creating a PowerPoint presentation would only detract from those more important things.
