The company you work for sells to both Government agencies and the private sector. Government agency budgets are relatively fixed for the product you provide. You currently have 10% of the market share; and sales totaled $15M last year. You do not expect this market to grow but are hopeful you can take 2% share from other firms. The rest of your sales comes from the private sector, where the addressable market is estimated to be worth $450M. You have products which address the needs of 50% of the market. This addressable market is 50,000 companies. Your reps can successfully reach 500 accounts each year, and from that outreach can close business with 20% of them. You have 25 sales reps on staff.
