Note: Your completed RPA will include a description of theIT topic/area, applicable industry(ies), any organizations involved or using the IT to be researched and developed in your paper, and the corporate, private- or public-sector competitive environments affected by the topic to be explored in your research paper. Also, include those factors that caused you to select your particular topic for research. Section 2--Premise ( Completed by Week 2 ). Present a concise positive statement of what you propose to research and substantiate this by correlating of the primary research topic to the ITM core academic curriculum. Qualitative terms must be defined, and the premise should be measurable. Section 3--Disclaimers or Study Limitation ( Completed by Week 2 ). Because you can only realistically deal with limited variables, there should be statements that define, identify, or explain research variables not considered in your research, which could distort your findings or results. Week 3: Review of Chapter 1 Section 4--Work Plan - Research Methodology ( Completed by Week 3 ). This section explains what primary and/or secondary research methodology you will use to develop your research paper. Week 4: Review of Chapter 2 Survey Instrument--The survey instrument or questionnaire in applied research should be completed by Week 4 for review and approval.
