Section 2: Learning Application

Dr. M is supervising 11 schools with 58 administrators, 389 teachers, and 10,560 K-12 students. He feels uneasy and less confident about the delivery of instruction this coming academic year due to the suspension of face-to-face classes. He knew he had to engage a team for research for him to be guided in making decisions. The study will be conducted to evaluate the capacity of schools to implement home education as basis for a Year 2020- 2021, specifically to answer the following:

1. What blended teaching-learning strategies are (1.1) administrators, (1.2) teachers and (1.3) students familiar with?
2. To what extent are (2.1) administrators, (2.2) teachers and (2.3) students proficient in the identified BTL strategies?
3. What strategies and courses of action will help (3.1) administrators, (3.2) teachers and (3.3) students successfully achieve the intended teaching-learning outcomes through the BTL strategies?
4. What BTL management system can be customized from the findings of this study?

Questions

1. What is the working title of the study?
2. What thematic topics will be covered in the RL?
3. What research methodology is applicable?
4. Who are the target participants?
5. How will Dr. M get the sample size and what sampling procedure will be adopted?
6. What other sources of data will Dr. M need?
7. How will the data be analyzed?

Performance Task: Design a research instrument (data gathering tool) for Dr. M's study. The first set is for quantitative data gathering which covers Statement of the Problem no. 1 and 2. The second set is for qualitative data gathering for SOP 3. Dr. M will conduct a survey for SOP 1 and 2 and Focus Group Discussion via Zoom for SOP 3.
