This task is divided into two parts:
Part A. Assign Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Use your workplace/organisation's RACI Matrix template to make this part of the task, or use theGeneric RACI Matrixtemplate provided.
To make this part of the task, you must:
- Identify and briefly describe the project for which accountabilities and responsibilities need to be assigned.
A project is a series of specific and finite tasks that need to be completed to produce an observable and measurable result. A project typically has a defined beginning and end, in contrast to ongoing operations.
- Identify at least two individuals and at least two teams to assign accountabilities and responsibilities.
The assigned individuals and teams can be any of the following:
- The same assigned individuals and assigned teams from Workplace Project Task 3: Section 2
- New assigned individuals and assigned teams
- Identify the tasks/activities/milestones to be completed by the assigned individuals and teams to complete the project.
- Make a RACI Matrix to assign accountabilities and responsibilities to assigned individuals and teams, according to operational plans and their competencies.
- Communicate the assignment of accountabilities and responsibilities to each assigned individual and each assigned team using the RACI Matrix.
Part B. Identify Resources
Use your workplace/organisation's Resource Allocation Plan template to make this part of the task, or use theGeneric Resource Allocation Plantemplate provided.
To make this part of the task, you must:
- Identify the resources needed by each assigned individual and each assigned team to complete their tasks/activities/milestones, based on RACI Matrix developed in Part A. of this task.
Resources can include:
- IT software and hardware: systems, devices, applications etc.
- Other material goods: equipment, tools, materials etc.
- Facilities: building, work area, conference room etc.
- For each resource identified, identify the type of resource needed, quantity and specifications of the resource needed and the duration for which the resources are needed.
- Partially complete the Resource Allocation Plan, by updating the Resource Identification section.
