Statement of the Problem: Industry X has a high turnover rate that is affecting organizations in terms of cost, productivity, and continuity. As researchers, we would like to help Industry X find the causes of turnover using turnover intent as proxy of actual turnover. Based on our literature review, we learnt that organizational support, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction may have significant impacts on turnover intent. We would try to empirically test the linkages using the conceptual model below.

Based on the conceptual model, we formulated the following alternative and null hypotheses:
H1: Organizational support negatively affects turnover intent.
Ho1: Organizational support does not affect turnover intent.
H2: Job satisfaction negatively affects turnover intent.
Ho2: Job satisfaction does not affect turnover intent.
H3: Organizational commitment negatively affects turnover intent.
Ho3: Organizational commitment does not affect turnover intent.
